Description
ipmireset issues a soft reset request to Supermicro IPMI sub-system. This is not a cold reset; it will reset all of the IPMI settings but it will not reset the network address. ipmireset is most useful if you have an IP Access list set up and you've lost access to the address. For example, if your home IP address is in the IP Access list but your address changes; you could issue an ipmireset so that you could get in to update the list.
